Dear Mr.Hong,

As a highly motivated and a diligent student with photography and operating stage lighting skills, I would like to apply for the position of trainee.

As a student at Asia University, I have been extensively involved in Film crew, which has allowed me to develop my photography skills. My involvement in various events, including a film director and production, has allowed me to work closely with my peers while supporting the school community as a whole.

These experiences have allowed me to develop strong enthusiasm of learning other skills  and skills of operating different filming equipments, which I see as being very important for working at trainee

Personal attributes that I believe make me suitable for this position include:

·    enthusiasm of learning other skills : when I recognize something that I don’t understand well. I won’t be shy to ask but positivly learning it.

·    many creative ideas : I used to be a director in a film group. This experience makes me become a thoughtful person, and can come out with a lot of ideas.

·    a capable person : I also was a cadre in the dance club. We often held some activity and cadres need to help a lot. It makes me a capable person

Additionally, I would like to mention that my teachers have praised me for a hardworking student. I enjoy working with others and believe that my photography skills will also help me to meet the expectations of this position.

In closing, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities to you in person. I believe that I have a lot to offer your organisation. I am keen to develop my professional skills and look forward to discussing my application with you at an interview.

EST 1072, Blog post 2: Internet Addiction

Internet addiction is defined as can live without internet, you will always want to use it and keep thinking about things on the internet. There are many forms of internet addiction. For example, if you find yourself checking your messages every ten minutes you may be addicted to social media as a form of internet addiction. Or if you don’t seem to be able to  stop playing internet games, even in the classroom, you may have what’s called an online gaming addiction.

Internet addiction can cause many problems at home, at school and maybe cause problems with your friends. For example, parents doesn't want you to use the internet for so long it's bad to your health and they will also want you to share your life with them not shut yourself in your room every time you get back home. At school, internet addiction can cause students to not concentrate in the class and it will cause students' grade getting lower and lower. For families, internet addiction can lead to a broken family relationship because you didn't spend time with them.

Are you addicted to the internet. Ask yourself the following questions and see.

1. Do…?
2. Are…?
3. Do you …?

If you answered yes to these questions, you may be addicted to the internet. In case  you are addicted to the internet, you can try doing the following to get better.

Firstly you should stop focus on the internet.

Secondly, you can spend more time with your friends and family.

Finally, you should do more exercise or read some books.

To be an internet addict or not to be; that is the question, the choice yours.

EST1072 Midterm Project: My Self Introduction

My name is Ben Chen. I'm 20 years old and I grew up in New Taipei City, Taiwan. As a child, I learned to play the game of Go at school. However, I am really interested in dancing , having a barbeque and listening to music. I love to dance, I joined the dance club in school and I dance almost every night. To me, it's a way to release my pressure. I also love to have a barbeque, no matter doing it with friends or by myself. I love when I cooked it and when I eat the food. I'm really into dancing. By loving it, I also love to listen to music, because I need to get to know the beats and try to enjoy in every music. In this case, I can show my best every time when I'm dancing and having fun in each moves.
In the future, I want to live a happy life. To make it come true, I need to get a nice job and must work very hard to success, and study hard while I'm educated. Hopefully, it can come true some day.

EST 1072, Blog post 1: Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet and Social Media

When thinking about advantages and disadvantages of the internet.it is important to have an open mind.

In my opinion, the internet and social media can be both good and bad,For example,l think YouTube is cool because people can upload their videos and can also watch others' by using it. But. it can also be very bad because it can easily cost people a lot of time.

l also think that Steam can be awesome because you can buy many video games on Steam, it has games from many other countries. But, it can also waste a lot of time, because it has too many games to buy, you will want to know more about every games and maybe buy many games by accidentally.

Again.when it comes to the internet and social media. there's both good and bad.l think the best thing
about the internet is that it has many different information to search and to learn or to use by free. The worst thing about it is you will easily waste many time and forget to get in touch with people you care.
